Boys Scout Troop 309 St Francis de Sales

  Welcome to

Boy Scout Troop 309

Our Troop was founded in 1974.  Having fun and doing things Scouts do is our Troop's main goal.

We currently have 48 active Scouts.  We've had over 95 Eagle Scouts since 1974. We're a boy led, boy run, and adult guided Troop.

We're a very active Troop and our Scouts have the opportunity to camp every month.

Our weekly Troop meetings are every Tuesday evening (with the exception of the month of July and or when School is out due to Holidays or Spring Break) from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

We meet in Valker Hall (the basement) at St. Francis de Sales Church at 33 S. Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich Il.

Please email our Committee Chair- committeechair@lz309.mytroup.us with any questions, or if you want to join our Troop.

Help Support Troop 309!

In the past, Troop 309 Funding Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization, has been able to directly aid Troop 309’s activities by subsidizing campouts, purchasing new equipment, aiding Eagle Scout Projects, and financing training for Boy Scout Troop 309.  We would like to continue providing those benefits in the future.  To do so, we need supporters to provide tax-free financial support.  Your financial support helps Troop 309 continue their mission to improve the lives of young Scouts.
